My Other baby Girl. Meet Seven.

Wanted to share my big girl with you. Other than my kids, she is the other baby of the house. She is spoiled rotten, super smart, fast learner and will test your strength; mentally and physically every chance she gets.
Her name is Seven like the number 7. I named her Seven because its one of my lucky numbers. The others being 3 and 10. I also named her 7 because, I wanted to name one of my girls Seven but no one ever let me and a few people picked nick names I wasn't happy with. She is also the 7th member of the house and have marked our 7th year in NC.

I've never had any female pets and thought I would get a  a girly girl dog who adores me and loves me unconditionally. My Tamale' (hubby) wanted a rough house dog. (meaning wrestling, and chew ropes and play boxing). I like calm and cute and am pushing for that with her. Its been a battle.

Last week I went to Walmart with my mother to buy a few items and some dog supplies for hers and mine. I told my mom I was going to find something girly for Seven. I decided to replace that dreadful orange collar she is wearing and look for a pink collar. I found the prettiest spiked collar and was extremely excited. I finally had a pink collar and its something girly for her !! Yea!!.

As I walked back to the basket I came across the CLEARANCE rack.
^_^ Love that Rack. lol.
I found a chew rope. Grabbed it and went on back.

When I get to my mother I tell her how excited I was for both items. She glanced at me and busted out laughing and said" I thought you went to buy something girly and you came back with a pink spiked collar and a huge chew rope. hahahahaaaa!

At that moment I realized  how ridiculous I looked . Im holding a pink SPIKED COLLAR and a CHEW ROPE??? nothing girly there. This Battle will never be won by me. Sometimes you just got to know when to give up! Needless to say I didn't buy either and she still has her orange collar on.

Here she is  showing off her muscles. :) I know she isnt a lap dog , why am I making her girly? lol.

When I find that answer I'll let you know.

OH NO my first open casket experience :)

Yup ! You heard me. I had my first open casket experience.
Went to the shop and decided to go on a delivery with Lisa (《《freaking adore her).
First stop was a high dollar retirement home. Not one assisted living resident had probably less than a million in their savings.
We took flowers to a sweet elderly lady. It breaks my heart seeing older people who need so much assistance  I pray my kids will be there to care for me when I'm older.

Next stop. Funeral home.
Now, I had no idea that I was going to walk in on an open casket. I opened the door for Lisa as she held the flowers for the family. My first thought after entering was how super its smelled. Clean and Fresh as if I had just walked into a Spring garden with tons of fresh blooms.
Needless to say as we walked over to meet the coordinator  we stop in front of a taped off room. didnt think much of it till I turned around and saw A BODY in a OPEN CASKET!!!
I wasn't terrified , I wasn't mortified, I think I had an outer body experience.!
I felt like I was standing next to myself as I saw my face go from pale pink to stark white!
There laying in the champagne white casket was a little old lady dressed in her bright yellow Sunday clothes. Quiet and peaceful.
We placed the flowers oon the table and headed to the van. Once I got in and buckled up I turned to Lisa to tell her that it was my first time seeing someone in a casket, let alone dead.

She chuckled and said she hoped I didnt get too freaked out.

Once I came too my senses I had a bit of an emotional moment. I went from an assisted living residence to a funeral. Kind of a bit to swallow.

It was definitely an eye opener of how short life is.

Tell someone you love them today , say hi to someone you don't know and brighten up their day. as quickly as we are given life  and take to our first breath , we also exhale our last on our dying day.

Spring Planting

Im so excited that Spring is around the corner! I didnt get an opportunity to last year to grow any bulbs. My fave is the Elephant ears and the Cana lilly.
Thnis year we should be in our new home. But before we get there Ill have all my bulbs ready to be transplanted into the ground.
Super excited!
Ive never been good with flimsy plants, but give me a strong sturdy bulb and we are on the same team!

I have plans for way more pants but this is just the start!

Is that the Easter Bunny?

We have decided to adopt a Holland Lop Bunny . Her/.His gender isn't established yet but we are excited to watch "Raspberry"  our Lop Bunny grow until she/he is ready to come home. :)
We are all very excited and cant wait.
Holland Lops can grow to be 5-8 pounds and are very social creatures. they love to be held and loved.

Urban Decay make-up setting spray Review

Ill be honest I've only used a setting spray once. The lady that did my make-up sprayed one by MAC cosmetics and It wasn't very good. >_<
I have the MAC finishing translucent powder and use it to finish my make-up more often than not. I love it. Matte's my makeup and helps to touch up when oily.
However. If it rains or I tear up, my makeup will run if it's not waterproof.
I went to Sephora to buy a new eyeliner. (Waterproof) & came across Sephora's Trio ; shadow, cream liner, and liner brush. ( review to follow).
As I went to checkout, the Urban Decay setting spray was sitting in the glass case in front of me.
"Urban Decay de-slick oil control setting spray". $17.
SOLD!
I had to try it. "Toss that in the bag too please."
The associate assures me its great and one of the top sellers.
Couldn't wait to try it out. Best part is I have a shoot to do and ill surely be shiny with the lights.
RESULTS:
Pros; the spray is a light mist, it's fragrant free and it dries quickly.
I even had tears when getting a hair out my eye. No make-up trails of running tears. !!!!! Big thing for me.
I'd recommend this for anyone who needs a setting spray for oily skin. Awesome product.
